- Self-Destruct and Permanent messaging - You can do one-touch voice, text, photo and video messaging in both self-destruct and permanent modes where messages shared with individual friends’ self-destruct or remain permanently as per the mode selected by you.

- Screenshots are disabled in the app. So, you can freely share any type of messages, drawings, photos and videos in the app without any privacy concerns.

- Voice and video messages can be anywhere from 1-15 seconds long.

- Individual and Group chats - You can chat with individual friends or with groups with up to 501 friends allowed in a group. Chats with individual friends’ self-destruct or remain permanently as per the mode selected by sender whereas group messages remain permanently and do not self-destruct.

- Voice Changers - Hello users can easily change their voice to surprise or prank their friends by applying voice filters from our large collection like girls', cartoon, ghost, chipmunk, traffic, pub, rain, metro, railway station, airport etc. 

- Filters - You can also apply tattoo, photo or video filters on your photo or video messages and can also doodle on them.

- Ping - Ping is a super-fun feature of Hello wherein you can send a sudden fun sound to surprise your friends. It will play auto-magically on their phones without them having to unlock their phone or open the app, if their phone is not on mute mode.

- Voice Stickers - Hello users can also share voice stickers with their friends. Voice stickers do not play automatically like pings and have to be tapped to hear their sound.

- Dancing Stickers, Emojis and Live Emojis - Hello users can share animated dancing stickers, emojis and live emojis with their friends in the app.

- Group Photo Collage – Group members photos are auto-picked to create a collage for the groups’ photo bubble. You can also select any other photo for your group bubble.

- Pinned messages - You can send temporarily important messages as pinned messages in Hello. They remain for a period of 24-hours after viewing.

- Mood - Hello users can share their mood in the app.

- Sending messages to friends in other apps - Hello users can send voice, text messages, photos, videos, voice stickers and pings to their friends in WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Telegram, ShareChat, Taka Tak, Moj, Josh, Zili, PUBG, Discord and similar apps.

- Change or Hide your presence status - Hello users can change or hide their presence status from other friends in Hello.

- Night Mode - Hello users can change the theme of their app from the default day mode to night mode or vice-versa anytime as per their preference.

- Message seen/read receipts - Hello users can see the sent, delivered and message seen/read receipts for their messages sent in Hello.

- Languages - Available in English, Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam & Marathi.
